Dorothy Perkins cotton fit and flare dress / Transparent legging / Michael Antonio shoes / Mango metal bracelet / Plastic earrings / ASOS white waist belt / Headband hair accessory / Doctor Who TARDIS Door Sign Patch / Large TARDIS Sign Fabric: Police Public Call Box / Doctor Who Gallifreyan Vinyl Sticker
Already have a cute blue dress, sleek black shoes, and a white belt (maybe even the popular galaxy leggings)? Purchase these patches and pin them on! Pair it up with the cute TARDIS headdress to have a costume from your closet!
My favorite part of the Casual Costume idea is that when you’re done partying (or you want to finish your night sans a “costume”) - just remove the accessories and voilà! You’re all set!
This is an example of a not-incredibly-subtle-but-subtle-enough set that allows a person to embody the character, but not to wear a full cosplay costume. The wearer should be more than comfortable wearing this to work or university. The point of this outfit is that it’s casual enough to use in an “every day” type of setting.
I’ve given a few options for the bow-tie since there are several ways to incorporate bows into this outfit. I’m not recommending that one should wear the actual bow-tie with the necklace, but to mix it up every time you put the outfit together. (But hey, if you want to rock both, then rock both!)
Since it’s early September, the weather hasn’t had much of a chance to cool down yet (at least not here!). If I were the one wearing this set or something similar, I would drop the wool blazer. The rest of the set should do it’s job in getting The-Doctor-vibe across. And besides, even he doesn’t wear the blazer all of the time, right?
What I had in mind for the braces (or suspenders) is that they would probably be worn best in this fashion because of the fit of the shirt:
I hope you all enjoy the new set! ♡
