Mr. Holmes! Simple and sleek! A look so timeless that I often find myself applauding the Sherlock costume department time and time again!
I’ve been away for a while! I wanted to come back with something familiar and new - The Legend of Zelda! I recently (I say recently, but my birthday was in November) acquired a copy of A Link Between Worlds, and while this isn’t a representation of the style of that specific game, it is a nod to one of the best video game franchises to have ever existed.
I’ve missed quite a lot since I’ve been away - I’m going to play a hefty game of catch-up for a while. Hope you don’t mind! :)
I would just like to thank all of my followers for being so incredibly wonderful. All of you have been so kind and lovely and supportive — it truly means a lot.
I would like to appologize to anyone who has messaged me and I didn’t reply, as this has happened a lot apparently. I don’t know exactly why I’m not getting my messages, notifactions for my messages, or “phantom” messages. This has been going on for a while. This blog is a side blog, yes, but I don’t know why these bugs keep happening.
BUT I am, as ever, always open to suggestions, questions, and feedback! Please don’t think that I am ignoring you! I know I have answered quite a few questions late because I never saw the notification when it was actually sent.
That being said — I would like to ask for feedback at this very moment, and from this point into the future, for what I could do that would make this blog more appealing to all of you (aside from update more frequently, as I am working on that).
Thank you all again so very much!
This is an example of a not-incredibly-subtle-but-subtle-enough set that allows a person to embody the character, but not to wear a full cosplay costume. The wearer should be more than comfortable wearing this to work or university. The point of this outfit is that it’s casual enough to use in an “every day” type of setting.
I’ve given a few options for the bow-tie since there are several ways to incorporate bows into this outfit. I’m not recommending that one should wear the actual bow-tie with the necklace, but to mix it up every time you put the outfit together. (But hey, if you want to rock both, then rock both!)
Since it’s early September, the weather hasn’t had much of a chance to cool down yet (at least not here!). If I were the one wearing this set or something similar, I would drop the wool blazer. The rest of the set should do it’s job in getting The-Doctor-vibe across. And besides, even he doesn’t wear the blazer all of the time, right?
What I had in mind for the braces (or suspenders) is that they would probably be worn best in this fashion because of the fit of the shirt:
I hope you all enjoy the new set! ♡
